A VIRTUAL MUSICAL COMMUNITY, BORN OUT OF LOCKDOWN.
Tunes in the Hoose is a voluntary online community, initially created in lockdown to provide Scottish Musicians the means of collaborating in the form of daily virtualised music performances.
Now, the community acts as a central hub for all musicians to promote, connect, network, socialise, educate and learn through online participation, regardless of location or ability. At this time, there are limited opportunities for musicians to share their talents to an engaged, worldwide audience and little opportunity for audiences to see live music in this way. Tunes in the Hoose changes all of this, by promoting new talent in Scotland, raising spirits across the globe, all whilst breathing fresh air into a traditional niche.
5 months and 400 productions on from its creation, we are delighted to announce a funding partnership with Creative Scotland, allowing us to develop Tunes in the Hoose over the next 12 months.
